Hey! I'm Dr. Scott Sweeney

I am so grateful and blessed to serve as a chiropractor in the Austin community for the last 18 years.

I found my way to chiropractic as many people do - with a low back injury. Prior to that first injury, I actually thought about becoming a chiropractor when I was a teenager. After learning about all the schooling involved, I decided to study business instead and move back to Ohio to work in the funeral industry where I owned a company that made concrete burial vaults.

That job taught me the value of hard labor, and eventually I herniated 2 discs in my lower back. My passion for chiropractic was reignited after I worked with a chiropractor to help me heal from that injury.

I decided I needed to fulfill the childhood dream I had so I sold my company and went back to school!

While in school at Life University and then at Palmer College of Chiropractic, I was learning different adjusting techniques and gravitated toward an upper cervical technique called NUCCA. I had been seeing chiropractors for my chronic low back symptoms for a while but was curious about upper cervical care and how it could improve my life. I started seeing a NUCCA chiropractor in Atlanta and started noticing a decrease in my chronic back pain as well as increases in flexibility. I was amazed that although I was older than in my younger years, I had more energy and range of motion than ever...all from only adjusting the top two bones!

I soaked up all the knowledge I could about nutrition, supplements, and overall wellness and began to share this knowledge with my family and friends. I still get checked every 2 weeks and continue to practice good nutrition and supplementation practices.

I love sharing my expertise and real world experience with my patients and seeing their lives transform just like mine did.

There is nothing more rewarding than living the life you want with energy and enthusiasm. This is what I help people achieve every day!

A COMPASSIONATE ADVOCATE

"I wanted a service or doctor that would not give up on the complexity of my situation and needed him to listen and keep working with my needs looking at my entire picture.

A doctor that was going to look at the complete, complex puzzle to my history and not discount my symptoms. I needed a doctor that was going to look at me from top to bottom since everyone up until Dr Sweeney had just concentrated on certain part or pieces of me" ~ Alexis
